He had a box of Raisin Bran half hugged to his chest like he was afraid someone would try to take it from him. Flapjack chirped and bobbed his head at Luz as his witch slumped over his own empty bowl, his eyes tired but alert. Gus flicked his spoon in her direction while Emmiline waved a little two toed front foot at her from his shoulder. Judging by the redness in Gus’s eyes and the tired slump in Hunter’s shoulders, Luz suspected that the two of them had held a meeting of the Nightmare Club without her. Luz grabbed the soy milk out of the fridge and took the seat between Amity and Gus to pour herself a bowl of Frosted Flakes. The only one missing was Dean, who was sitting on the couch while one of those cheesy hospital soap operas he swore he didn’t watch played on the TV in front of him. Most of the other occupants of the house were gathered around the table with bowls of cereal in front of them. While her brothers arguing was nothing new, she wasn’t used to them butting heads over her. She wasn’t quite sure what to think about the fight she’d overheard. She could hear Dean’s voice in the mix, and there was no way Sam was still asleep considering he’d crashed on the couch. Luz took the stairs a little more slowly than necessary. She could hear the television going downstairs, along with the ambient sound of six people co-existing in a somewhat limited space. The kids’ shared room was empty when she stopped to stow away her toiletries. She emerged a few minutes later, dressed and teeth brushed. She paused long enough to give Amity a kiss on the cheek and let Ghost nuzzle against her ankle before she darted out to take her turn in the bathroom. She grabbed a clean pair of jeans and a random t-shirt along with her toiletries bag. You guys go on ahead, I’ll be down in a minute.” Luz pulled her clothes basket out from under her bed. She stood up and stretched her arms, wincing slightly at the stiffness in her bad shoulder. She pressed a kiss to her Palisman egg’s shell before setting it gently on her own pillow. “Bathroom’s free,” Amity announced lightly. Ghost trotted at her heels, head held high and tail swaying proudly in the air.Īmity smiled at the sight of Luz, and Ghost gave a low chirp in greeting. Her damp hair was neatly brushed, a few lavender strands stuck to her forehead. The Abomination Witch was dressed in her own day clothes, with a towel around her neck and her toiletries bag in hand. They both turned a moment later as the door opened and Amity stepped inside. She traced the grooves on its warm wooden shell with one finger. She grabbed her Palisman egg out of its pillow nest against the wall and pulled it into her lap. She felt decently rested, despite the events of the night. Luz tilted her head in thought as she pushed her blanket away and sat up. “You sleep okay?” she asked with a glance at Luz as she lightly scratched her Palisman’s head. She stretched her arms out behind her, sunlight glinting off the lenses of her glasses as Clover buzzed over to sit on Willow’s shoulder. She was fully dressed, only missing her boots. She set her decorative pillow down on her more-or-less neatly made bed and absently smoothed out a few wrinkles in the blanket. “Good morning, sleepyhead,” she teased lightly. Willow smiled when she saw Luz looking at her. One moment she was staring up at the underside of Amity’s bunk while Dean and Sam’s argument rang in her ears, and the next she was waking up to the familiar sound of her various roommates getting ready for the day. Luz wasn’t sure when exactly she’d dozed off. Supernatural characters come into play around season three. The Human Realm is actually MORE dangerous than the Demon Realm.Supernatural characters are only mentioned (for now at least).
